We are happy to announce the launch of 3 new yoga programs in the new version of Gotta Joga (3.23 iOS and 1.14 Android). Remember to update your app to gain access to these new yoga programs:

  1. Chair yoga with Anu Visuri. 2 new yoga classes for those of you with sensible articulations or who would like to try something new and fun. First class of 35 minutes is for beginners and the 2nd one of 40 minutes for more advanced yogis. Chair yoga is great as feel supported by the chair throughout the practice. You can use any chair for these classes as long as it has a backrest with a pass through for you legs.
  2. Ashtanga Yoga Intermediate with Giuseppe Panarello. This program is a follow up for the Ashtanga Yoga Basic program introduced earlier this year. Four more classes of 30-40 minutes introduce all fundamental standing poses, balance poses and closing poses in a progressive way. Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic form of yoga where every movement is combined with a breath. All sequences start with sun salutations A and B and are great for a morning practice.
  3. Iyengar Yoga Basic with Gabriel Girard. {link to interview}These 5 classes are specially designed to our mobile users: they have a clear focus (standing poses, forward folds, backbends, shoulderstand, forearm stand) and length of 25-35 minutes. Iyengar yoga was developed by B.K.S. Iyengar in India and it is know for its emphasis on detail and aligmenent as well as the use of accessories: chair, blocks, a strap and blankets.
